In his 20th season coaching, James has made a name for himself as the Head Coach of the Snow Squad Riders program. With a squad focus on racing and freestyle, it’s his personal passion of freestyle that allows him to show off his own style.  James has travelled the world with his coaching expertise working in Australia, Canada, America and Japan.

A lover of all things freestyle he can usually be found in the park.

Snowboarding  – Jackson Day

Jackson Day’s passion is snowboarding.  He started skiing at the age of 3 and boarding at 5 on the slopes of Mt Buller.  He trained with Mt Buller Race Club for 5 years and also worked with Team Utah.  He loves racing in local events and at the Interschools and Nationals.   He became Australian GS Champion Div 4 in 2013 and took out the title again in 2015 in Div 3.  In June 2017 Jackson qualified as a Snowboard Instructor and is currently teaching on weekends at Mt Buller’s Ski & Snowboard School.

Ryan Scott

Skateboarding  –   Ryan Scott

Ryan has been skating since the day the skatepark opened down the end of his street in Newport, Melbourne 14 years ago.

He skates tranny and says there’s no better feeling than the flow of skating transition.

He is a musician (guitarist and lyricist) and music has always influenced his skating  “…you’ll always find with music playing while I skate”.

Ryan skates anywhere that’s challenging and new but his local park is Newport.

Matt RoneyKite Surfing  –  Matthew Roney

Matt Roney originally from Noosa, Qld has been Kite Surfing for 9 years and took out the NSW Kitestock in 2015.

An avid surfer, mainly on the Qld & NSW coasts, he also enjoys boarder cross and endurance racing.  His other passion is photography @Voodoo Visions
